The community-minded folks at Rep Fitness are creating win-win situations during the COVID crisis! Rep Fitness is reaching into their own pockets during the month of April to spend $500 at local restaurants DAILY. The food purchased is then donated to Tin Shed and other charities. HUGE SHOUT OUT!

A big thank you to local Colorado Starbucks stores for donating surplus sandwiches to Tin Shed during the COVID-19 pandemic!

We were nominated for the K-Love 'Mile High Hearts' campaign from a listener in February. There were 400 nominees and we were picked for our display of a Mile High Heart!

Special thanks to the 8 company volunteers at eData Source who came out to give their time, energy and love to Tin Shed Pantry!

Thanks Meadow Estates for contributing to the shoe drive!!!! A semi truck (yes, a semi) came to pick up all 68 bags of shoes that were collected! 1,500 shoes were donated which raised $1,500. The shoes went to 3 different wonderful organizations. Thanks to all who donated!

Thanks to the help of donations, we were able to supply 126 children with gifts and clothes for the 2020 Holiday season! Donations always welcome to continue to make differences in people’s lives in our community!

We are a food rescue program. We receive donated food from a number of sources each week. Through the help and efforts of our wonderful volunteers, we are able to sort, arrange and open the food pantry up to close to 400 families each week at no cost to them. We are open to patrons Tuesdays from 1:15 - 6pm inside Clear Creek Church in Wheat Ridge. Come visit us!

Our mission is to help families in short term or long term crisis. We feed up to 200 families per week. In 2019, Tin Shed fed a total of 249,224 meals to 5,720 families!!!

Founded in 2015, Tin Shed was born from the memories of a young girl raised by a single dad fondly remembering a small tin shed in her home town where people received food.
Many hours of unconditional love later, the 1st Tin Shed Pantry started.
Tin Shed continues to grow as many volunteers now pour in their unconditional love.

Food is much more than nourishment. At Tin Shed Food Pantry, we recognize food as family, friendship, celebrations, and security. We strive to create a warm and welcoming community where Wheat Ridge neighbors come together, and everyone can shop for free quality food such as fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, and proteins.

Every Tuesday, Tin Shed provides food for over 350 families. The Tin Shed is 100% staffed and operated by volunteers. Every box of food is pushed, pulled, unpacked, and displayed. It takes 40 volunteers over 14 hours to transform a gymnasium into a grocery shopping experience. Volunteers help show love to Wheat Ridge by generously donating their hearts, time, and skills. We truly are neighbors helping neighbors.

Financial support for Tin Shed comes from loving neighbors, local businesses, churches, a strong partnership with Food Bank of The Rockies, and non- profit grant opportunities. Each of our partnerships join us in the effort to alleviate hunger. At the heart of a thriving Jefferson County is community helping community, building friendships through food. Tin Shed cares about our neighbors.
